Colby Elise Creative Celebrates ✨5✨ Years

 Feb. 27, 2026 marked five years of Colby Elise Creative. I’m over the moon to celebrate this birthday and this brand. ✨

I submitted the application for my LLC from my favorite corner of a local coffee shop on Feb. 27, 2021. Fridays off from my nonprofit position were spent dreaming and deep-diving into how I could work on my own terms. Months later, I took the burn your boat approach (a bold move, but one that was fitting for that chapter of life) by resigning from that role to pursue remote options. I landed full-time contracts and never looked back.

I’m deeply grateful for the long hours, late nights, lessons learned, and incredible people who played a part in these first five years. When you enjoy what you do and who you collaborate with, it changes everything about your life. This milestone deserved a moment of recognition — and a rebrand. I’ve come into my own personally and professionally in my 30s, and this new chapter of Colby Elise Creative reflects that.

Moving forward, I want to not only continue to do great work, but find and build community along the way. While I’m always behind the scenes, this year I’m showing up and sharing more: ideas, insights, itineraries, and other avenues of inspiration. Follow along through this site and on Instagram.
